Jimmy Fallon Taunts Elon Musk With Perfectly Petty Reply To His Demand

Jimmy Fallon on Monday mocked Elon Musk’s attempt at getting all U.S. federal workers to list five things they’ve done in the last week in a bid to justify their jobs, or face termination.

“Of course, the workers were furious. Mostly about getting a work email on a Saturday,” joked “The Tonight Show” host.

Fallon then imagined how people could respond to the request hyped by Musk, who President Donald Trump has installed to cut public spending via the non-official Department of Government Efficiency.

It read:

1. I received this email.

2. I opened this email.

3. I read this email.

4. I laughed at this email.

5. I deleted this email.

“Five. There’s five,” pointed out Fallon.

“It’s hard to take it seriously when you’re stealing rules from Cinderella,” he added, referring to the Monday 11:59 p.m. deadline to respond.
