Angela Cullen spotted with Lewis Hamilton’s team in Bahrain ahead of Ferrari test

has officially linked up with his trainer Angela Cullen after she joined the team in Bahrain ahead of Formula One testing.

Cullen was spotted holding a conversation with Hamilton’s bodyguard as they walked around the paddock at the Sakhir International Circuit. The physio, 50, held a package with a white piece of paper – which appeared to be a parking pass – while Hamilton’s chief of security showed her his phone.

following a two-year absence, opting to reunite with the Briton on his Italian adventure after his departure.

In 2023, Cullen announced she following a successful seven-year working partnership. But after struggling for the past two years with the Silver Arrows, Hamilton moved to reappoint Cullen as part of his new team with the Prancing Horse.

And she has wasted no time in getting reacquainted alongside the seven-time world champion after jetting out to the Middle East for the gruelling three-day programme.

It’s not the first time Cullen has been spotted with the Hamilton camp. In late January, the trainer was seen dressed in teamwear for the first time after filming a promotional video as she stood alongside team principal Fred Vasseur.

Her addition to the team has been regarded as a pivotal move from to help Hamilton, 40, rediscover his best form and challenge for silverware with the Scuderia this year. Cullen played a key role in helping Hamilton win four consecutive titles between 2017 and 2020, before the controversial end to the 2021 campaign denied him a record-breaking eighth crown.

Her sudden exit from the team in 2023 came after struggled to adapt to the new regulations, with Hamilton enduring a miserable 56-race streak without a race victory before his win at Silverstone.

No reasons were given for the 50-year-old’s exit, and she spent some time away from the sport before taking up a role in IndyCar with Marcus Armstrong.

“So when I left Formula One, I thought I was moving away from motorsport,” she told the IndyCar YouTube channel. “I retired, actually. So I took a year off last year, and then I connected with Marcus Armstrong and I just started working with him on mental skills and things in the background.”

Now back in F1 with , Cullen has reportedly moved to Fiorano to help Hamilton adapt to life in Italy, where he is taking Italian lessons to smoothen his transition from living in the UK

And having his trusted sidekick alongside him could play a major role in leaving a positive legacy during his time with the Scuderia.
