The , 40, and Duchess of Sussex, 43, touched down in British Columbia to watch the tournament – which is a cause close to the Prince’s heart. In the past, during high-profile events, Meghan has sported bold looks, whereas this time around, she has decided to go for a minimalist approach.

Not only has she worn muted and monochrome tones over the past few days, but she has also decided to ditch her show-stopping accessories and . Eagle-eyed fans have been quick to point out that she has not been wearing any necklaces or noticeable bracelets.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user criticised the Duchess, writing: “I have never seen someone get their ring pictured so much.”

“Phoney PR attempting wannabe celebrities,” claimed a third. However, others disagreed and thought putting the ring under the spotlight showed their “strong unity”. One penned: “Look at that ring she is a lucky girl. Harry and Megan have a strong unity.”

Picking up on their display of affection, another person shared: “More couples need to kiss in public…just when the urge hits, kiss your partner, hold their hand, put your arm around them! Start a trend many people have forgotten about in fear of being criticised and told ‘get a room’…..no, it’s called genuine affection anywhere any time.”

Meghan’s engagement ring consists of three huge stones, with a large diamond in the middle surrounded by two smaller gems on either side.
