Dublin Wives’ star Jo Jordan has passed away at the age of 51.

The popular personality was found deceased by a friend at her residence in Ratoath, County Meath, on Friday 7th February. Celebrated for her “kind” and “generous,” nature, Jo captured hearts on TV3’s Dublin Wives, which provided an insider’s view into the lives of five women from Dublin.

Her co-stars included Danielle Meagher, Lisa Murphy, Roz Flanagan, and Virginia Macari-Smurfit. Beyond the spotlight, she dedicated herself to charitable causes and managed a business venture with her former spouse, James.

She had previously conquered a heart attack in 2016. As news of her tragic death emerged, heartfelt tributes flooded in from friends and colleagues who esteemed her deeply.

Roz Flanagan mourned profoundly, and Alan McGarry, who knew Jo closely, honoured her altruistic spirit. The Mirror captured his words: “Despite everything you had going on, you did your best to be there. That’s just who you were – kind, generous, and always showing up for others.”, reports .

Photographer Jerry McCarthy also expressed his grief and paid homage to Jo’s vibrant energy, as reported by OK!

He lamented: “Life can be so cruel and nonsensical at times, taking away someone so young, full of life, and loved by those close to her. I hope she truly rests in peace.”

Dublin Live’s Robbie Kane has paid a touching tribute to Jo, highlighting her endearing qualities: “She was warm, funny, engaging, and always had time for people,” he remarked. “She wore her heart on her sleeve and shot from the hip. Like many, she had her own personal battles, but being from Ballymun, she fought back.”

The obituary poignantly noted that Jo was a “cherished mother of Gavin and Joshua, devoted grandmother of Mason and Noah, and dear sister of Paul, Sonya, Michelle, Gloria, and the late Linda.”

Jo’s death comes just one year after her ‘Dublin Wives’ co-star Lisa Murphy also succumbed to cancer at the age of 51. Jo leaves behind a bereaved family, including her former husband James, daughter-in-law Bridget (BB), and numerous relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.
