Celebrity Bear Hunt has barely completed its first foray into the wilds of , debuting on February 5, but already it’s been making waves.
The series, which pitches a dozen famous names against the Costa Rican jungle’s harsh realities and the ominous ‘Bear Pit’ elimination rounds, featured diverse celebs like Spice Girl alum Mel B, dancing queen Shirley Ballas, funnyman Joe Thomas, and tennis legend Boris Becker.
The stars were pitted against one another and the environment, battling out daily challenges to stay off the chopping block. With all episodes now streamed, Holly Willoughby, the programme’s charming host, hinted at the possibility of another series lighting up screens.
Speaking to Yahoo, Holly gushed: “We absolutely love everything about the show, doing the show, and I think right now we’re just sort of focusing on this one.”
“We’ve unleashed it now. Let’s see what people make of it, one step at a time right?”

Echoing her sentiments was survival icon Bear Grylls, succinctly summarising their stance with: “One step at a time.”
The show’s gripping suspense seems to have caught the audience’s imagination too, prompting calls for more Celebrity Bear Hunt action on social platforms, reports .
A user eagerly posted: “Hope they do another season.” Another added: “Me too and yes please.”
Over on YouTube, a comment highlighted the desire for a twist in the format, saying: “Hope they do a no celebrity one too – Bear is epic.”
Meanwhile, a fan couldn’t contain their enthusiasm after devouring the season, saying: “I binge watched this, thought it was great. Hope they do a series two.”

In the thrilling series finale, Una Healy, Steph McGovern, Lottie Moss, Big Zuu, and Kola Bokinni found themselves battling it out in the Bear Pit, desperate to evade Bear’s grasp. However, Lottie and Kola were given the boot, leaving only Big Zuu, Una, and Steph to emerge victorious from the challenge.
As the show drew to a close, Bear deliberated on which of the three deserving contestants should take home the top prize, considering not only their performance in the final Bear Pit but also their overall display of skills throughout the series.
Finally, Bear announced the winner, saying: “One person stands out in terms of positivity, relentlessly giving their everything, in terms of calm under pressure, having that never giving up attitude and in terms of finishing this adventure strong.
“And that winner is Big Zuu,” he declared, prompting a jubilant reaction from the group as they gathered around the campfire to celebrate.
