The mood in both cars has been very different with the ladies in a celebratory mood while in the boys’ car Caleb’s anger towards his brother Cain was at boiling point, and the atmosphere was thick with resentment.

Caleb has to swerve violently to avoid an oncoming truck, while Charity’s limo dangerously veers after she sees Noah stumbling into the road.

Although the crashes are unrelated lives are hanging in the balance in the aftermath as Dominic Brunt confirmed. “They drive them very badly and that’s why it all ends in tears.

“There’s a huge cliffhanger at the end of this episode – a literal cliffhanger – as some people will leave this earth!” he said.

Michelle Hardwick further teased the upcoming exits. “The story is amazing too as there are two limos, and they both swerve off the road, and the audience has literally no idea which limo has got onto the lake. Lives are definitely left hanging in the balance.

“There is a lot of jeopardy with both limos, and we are going to be saying goodbye to certain characters.

“But it will be an exciting watch and a real cliffhanger – even when I was just reading the script, I was gripped and just had to keep turning the pages.

“It was like reading a fantastic book you can’t put down, and I can’t wait for our audience to see it on screen.”
