Breakfast presenter revealed he was missing from Tuesday’s show (February 11) in order to attend a funeral.

He said it was a good service with good music and admitted they provided the lyrics for attendees to sing along.
Eamonn is a lifelong fan but also enjoyed a friendship with Denis having worked with him at Manchester.
“We worked together for the in Manchester, and he was very good. And I became his taxi driver as well. So it is that was very nice. Very lovely. Very, very funny, very mercurial man,” Eamonn reflected.
