Rapper Dank Demoss appeared on The Breakfast Club with host Charlamagne the God, where video showing her expressing gratitude for the show’s “accommodation” has gone viral.
Demoss was first welcomed into the studio by the longtime host, but when she sat down in the spot reserved for guests — a typical office chair — she appeared to struggle on the too-small seat.
“This the only seat y’all got?” she asked, to which Charlamagne replied, “What you want? What you need?”
The radio personality and other staffers are then seen addressing the issue by splitting up a sectional sofa and dragging it to the guests’ area.
“This what I’m talking about. Good. This is accommodation,” she said while sprawling across the couch.
As the interview got underway, Charlamagne mentioned the seat-shuffling incident, adding, “Well, we live in a world that’s not always going to be able to accommodate people …” before she interrupts him.
“But we should, though, we should, because we’re not all the same.”
The 36-year-old then compared “bigger people” to the LGBTQ community, prompting Charlamagne to challenge her, noting that while some people argue that people don’t have a choice about their sexuality, the rapper is choosing to be plus-size.
As the interview continued, Charlamagne told the guest: “When we first heard about your story, you know, there were a lot of jokes made. Everybody made jokes, including us.”
He continued: “But when I heard you was a rapper, I was like, ‘You know, why not have her up here and have a have a conversation.’”
Demoss explained the incident surrounding her lawsuit against Lyft in which she has accused one of the rideshare company’s drivers of telling her she couldn’t fit inside his car.

“I knew that it was illegal, and I knew that it was wrong,” the rapper alleged in an interview with WJBK following the incident.
“I can fit in this car,” she can be heard saying in footage posted to social media after being told by the unnamed driver she would need to order a larger Uber XL.
“Believe me, you can’t,” the unidentified man is heard saying in the clip, before offering to cancel the ride so she wouldn’t have to pay a fee.
