The UK is in for a February flurry of snow, with 44 counties and authorities expected to be blanketed, according to WX Charts.
A wall of snow stretching from Northern Ireland to Germany is forecast for noon on February 20.
As well as snowfall, the mercury is predicted to fall dramatically, with bitter -2C or -3C temperatures felt across the country from Wales to East Anglia, Northumberland to Hampshire.
The heaviest of the snow will be seen in the north of England, according to the forecaster, however counties further south will see a dusting, too.

The , the UK’s official forecaster, does not predict snow so far ahead of the date in question. That’s because snowfall in the UK is notoriously difficult to predict given the number of variabilities at play.
Nevertheless, WX Charts’ radar shows that 44 counties and unitary authorities are in for wintery downpours later this month.
