Teams dreaming of glory following the exits of , and will learn their fifth-round opponents tonight. The likes of , and will hope to capitalise on two big-hitters being dumped out of the competition in the early rounds.
were surprisingly beaten by Championship basement side Plymouth on Sunday, while were defeated by Brighton the day before. , meanwhile, were knocked out by in the third round.
United and City have underperformed this season and may see the FA Cup as their only chance of silverware. Bournemouth, Brighton and Aston Villa will also believe they have a chance. A place in the quarter-final awaits teams who win in the fifth round.
Tonight’s draw is due to take place at around 7:10pm. Former stars Alex Scott and Theo Walcott will draw the balls.
