The first series of the new show was broadcast on More 4 in 2024, with five episodes packed with returning faces including eldest son , eldest daughter Raven Owen, and a rapidly growing up brood of children from Clemmy to Annas, Sydney to Miles.
But Amanda’s latest post confused her followers and led to people issuing the same complaint.
Amanda Owen posted on her : “How it started. Here’s how you can follow our journey, the highs, lows and even lowers.
“TONIGHT on 7.10pm.”
In a second post she added: “It’s Saturday and we’re back on your screens with our latest project (as if we needed any more to do). You’ll find us all (nobody gets away without pulling their weight) beginning the challenging project of bringing a ruinous farmhouse back from the brink and returning it to its former glory (in a rustic kind of way, it was never a castle).
“So please tune in for a breath of fresh air, more than a smidgen of mud, children, animals and friends (mates rates now applicable) as we reveal its past and attempt our own unique way to secure its future.”
But fans were confused by the posts, and kept making the same complaint.
They asked Amanda if the episode was new, and complained when they realised that it was just a repeat of the first series of Our Farm Next Door instead of the second series that they’ve been waiting for.
@jackie03bird said: “Why’s it being repeated already?”
@paskjulie said: “This is a repeat, when will we see the next series please?”
@extreme342 said: “I was hoping to see a new series but it was a repeat. How long will it be for the next series? That is the question everyone is asking but not sure why nobody seems to know.”
@tara_lav09 said: “Ah it’s only a repeat!”
Channel 4 has commissioned a second series of five more episodes, filmed at the same time as the first, but has not yet revealed a date for when the new series will be shown.
