LIV Golf’s all-time money list with over £700million handed out in prize money already

LIV Golf’s financial backing has dramatically transformed the sport, with top golfers reaping significant rewards for their performances. The Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, which boasts a wealth in the hundreds of billions, has enabled the organisation to significantly increase the earnings of its players.

Numerous high-profile names have been enticed away from the with lucrative signing-on fees. Now in its fourth season, is nearing the $1billion mark in prize money distributed, with well over £700million awarded so far.

According to , his combined individual and team winnings total $56,435,280 (£45m). That’s in large part thanks to the $18m (£14m) prize for winning the 2023 individual championship.

Close behind is Dustin Johnson, LIV’s first winner, who has now earned $55,041,630 (£44m). There’s quite the drop to Cameron Smith in third place with $40,913,874 (£33m).

Brooks Koepka is fourth with $39,431,225 (£32m), while Rahm ranks fifth after just one year on the rebel tour, earning $38,238,154 (£31m) – $18m of which came from topping the points list in 2024.

Joaquin Niemann ($36,404,141/£29m), Sergio Garcia ($33,617,808/£27m) and Branden Grace ($30,388,178/£24m) are ranked sixth, seventh and eighth respectively before DeChambeau. The current US Open champion has earned $29,847,617, just under £24m, from LIV so far.

Completing the top 10 is Patrick Reed with $27,938,797 (£22m). Other notable golfers include Tyrrell Hatton in 26th on $14,630,594 (£12m), Lee Westwood in 38th on $8,931,081 (£7m), and Phil Mickelson in 45th on $7,292,648 (£6m).

The 2025 season kicked off in Riyadh on Thursday, with a top prize of $4m (£3.2m) up for grabs from the $20m (£16m) purse. The victorious team will share ($3m) £2.4m.
