One star has teased a return to the soap – but they have one condition.
Twinnie-Lee Moore starred as fight ring organiser and all-round tough girl Jade in recent episodes of the show, which saw Mike Parr’s character Ross Barton make a dramatic return after years away.
And now Nashville-based Twinnie – who was born in where she first launched her country music career – has confessed she would consider coming back to the Dales.
Speaking exclusively with Express.co.uk, the actress explained despite it being a challenge to balance her music and acting careers – meaning she often “doesn’t sleep” – she loves performing.
Twinnie said: “I don’t sleep, especially when I was doing . It was awesome. I love the cast and I love all the crew, I love the character. I actually didn’t even see where I ended up on that because I was over here [in the US] so I didn’t get to watch all the episodes.

One Emmerdale star has teased a return
“But we do a pretty good job [balancing workloads] – I’m always auditioning for stuff when it comes to acting. Again, I’m such a little performer. I’ve done that since I’ve been four years old. I love anything live, all the acting, all the dancing I’ve done for other people. It all comes in handy for my music videos. I direct and I edit them myself.”
Twinnie “loved” playing Jade, and hinted that behind her tough gal facade she could have a tragic backstory.
She added: “It was good to have that stint back on , I really did enjoy being in a crew again, I liked that. She’s a really fun character to play.
Country singer Twinnie played Jade in the soap
“In my mind Jade was this not to be messed with tough girl but I feel underneath that she had a heart and she was funny. To me she was quite dry. That’s why I wanted to play her like that. I felt that with Jade she was hurt by the world and that’s why she’s so tough, she’s had to be.”
And her ideal storyline if she were to make a return?
“Maybe having somebody rescue her,” Twinnie told us. “I loved working with Mike Parr, he’s one of my friends. I loved it a lot. It was great to have a storyline including him. But yeah, I’d really want her to have more of a vulnerable storyline, but it’d have to be a big storyline to go back, I think.”
Twinnie lives in Nashville full-time and hasn’t seen her episodes
Now Twinnie is about to head off on a headline tour of the UK, with dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and London.
She’ll be performing tracks from her new album Something We Used to Say on the Happy Hour tour.
