has disclosed a frightening ordeal while filming Netflix’s new series Celebrity Bear Hunt.
As one of the participants in the show, which premiered on the streaming platform on February 5, Steph joined 11 other celebrities on a challenge to survive in Costa Rica’s jungle while evading capture by Bear Grylls, who hosts the programme alongside Holly Willoughby.
The lineup includes notable figures such as Shirley Ballas, Boris Becker, Danny Cipriani, Mel B, and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
During the filming, the 42 year old TV presenter found herself in a distressing situation, colliding face-first with a cliff edge. Scenes showed medics rushing to her aid as she hung powerless in her safety harness.

Sharing her account with , Steph recounted: “We had these amazing medics and everything. There was a moment where I literally fell off a cliff and smashed into a wall.”
Recalling her instant reaction, Steph continued: “I was just hanging there looking at… There was blood dripping off my face. I didn’t overthink it. I just thought, they’re not going to let me die.
“It was fine, it wasn’t a big deal, it wasn’t broken. They were just kind of checking me that I didn’t have a concussion. I was a bit mad. You know these things sometimes that look more dramatic than they actually are?”
In the scenes, now available on , Steph is seen tumbling from a ledge during the challenge and swinging towards the rock. She vocalised her pain as her fellow stars watched in shock, with Holly assuring them that medics were en route to assist, reports .

Despite surviving the Costa Rican jungle, Steph suffered another injury upon her return home. She disclosed that she slipped on ice and recently sought medical attention, resulting in her wearing a sling on her arm.
The beloved TV personality attended the Celebrity Bear Hunt premiere in London on 4 February, sporting a black sling wrapped around her wrist and arm.
