Adidas and revealed their striking new collection on Thursday, with and Kimi Antonelli showcasing their new race suits, equipped with the brand’s iconic three stripes on the shoulders and down the legs of the design.
Discussing Hamilton’s love for Adidas, told Sky Sports F1: “Lewis said that it is probably the sports brand with the most cultural relevance, and he had a crying and laughing [reaction], I think, knowing that we were going to Adidas.”
The collaboration was very positively received and represents the ongoing cultural boom that F1 is experiencing. Along with Adidas, Puma and Castore are expanding their presence on the grid, and a number of fashion brands have released capsules with teams in recent years.
The drivers are excited, too. “Our partnership with Adidas is incredibly exciting,” said after the collection was released. “It gives us a refreshed energy as we open the next chapter in our team’s story.

Lewis Hamilton was supportive of Mercedes’ new direction

Adidas is planning more special releases throughout the year, as revealed by Kimi Antonelli. “It has been amazing to be here at Adidas HQ today,” he said. “It is an incredible partnership, and I am very excited to be starting my F1 career for wearing Adidas.
