fans could barely contain their frustration after tuning in to the latest instalment of the business show.
Last week, the hit show – which pits eager candidates against each other as they vie to become Lord Sugar’s business partner – returned with a bang.
The 13 hopefuls certainly brought their A-game as they battled it out for a spot in next week’s show, with fans saying goodbye to Emma Rothwell after she failed to impress the business tycoon, 77, in the dreaded boardroom.
On Thursday (February 6), 13 stars returned to his lavish London office where they were tasked to produce and sell their own AI pop star with a hit track that will get the whole nation jumping.
Stepping up to the challenge this week was Amber-Rose Badrudin and Anisa Khan as rival team leaders. However, their hit tracks did little to impress the businessman, and the potential buyers too.

Team leader Amber-Rose Badrudin brought Nadiya Suliaman and Aoibheann Walsh into the boardroom
Anisa’s team pitched an AI singer named Bami with a hit single which promoted a strong, empowered woman with a message about body positivity.
Meanwhile, Amber-Rose opted for a rap double act called Freddie and Nadz who promoted a wealthy lifestyle and a strong work ethic. Ultimately, Anisa’s team made a landslide victory after they secured an eye-watering £250,000 investment in their product.
This left Amber-Rose in the dreaded boardroom meeting with her teammates Aoibheann Walsh and Nadia Suliaman as they explained to the businessman where their pitch fell short.
After each candidate fiercely debated why they deserved to go through to next week, Alan ultimately decided to fire the Irish salon owner.
Fans slammed his decision online
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their disappointment online. One user fumed: “Two weeks, two WRONG firings #TheApprentice” as another echoed: “Wrong decision Lord Sugar #theapprentice.”
A third chimed in with: “#TheApprentice got that one wrong again Sugar!” as a fourth pointed out: “So the strong and the wrong ones get to stay, yet the quieter one who couldn’t get a look in gets fired… #TheApprentice.”
The Apprentice airs on Thursdays from 9pm on One or catch up on iPlayer.
