Seth Meyers on Wednesday aired two montages that he used to call out Donald Trump’s hypocrisy when it comes to the president’s idea of turning Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
The first supercut featured footage of Trump repeatedly ― over the last few years ― railing against the policy of nation-building.
The second group of clips focused on Trump’s talk this week of the U.S. somehow taking ownership of Gaza so that it could be redeveloped.
“Trump is a hypocrite and liar who contradicts himself,” Meyers said. “Everyone knows that, but more than that, his abandonment of America First shows, once again that right-wing MAGA populism is a scam.”
