Host of Good Morning Britain, , has made an emotional announcement as she has been recognised for her work on the ITV show. Taking to the 54-year-old presenter shared that she had been nominated for a prestigious award.
Sharing a snap of her and her fellow nominees – ‘s Anna Foster and star Sophy Ridge – Susanna thanked various people as she shared the news. She was up with a chance to win Network Presenter of the Year at the RTS Television Journalism Awards 2025.
Captioning the image, Susanna wrote: “THANK YOU to the @royaltelevisionsociety for this prestigious nomination in a category with illustrious company @annaefoster @sophyridge. And thank you, always, to our incredible @gmb team and viewers.”
The GMB host’s ITV co-stars commented with messages of applause and support. Lorraine Kelly said: “Hurrah! Fantastic,” while Kate Garraway simply shared some clapping hand emojis.
Charlotte Hawkins penned: “Amazing! Very well deserved,” with Richard Arnold and both adding emojis of applause.

Earlier in the week, Susanna halted Good Morning Britain to offer congratulations to her co-star, Ed Balls. It seems she is not the only star of the programme to be nominated for an award recently.
While discussing the day’s news with guests Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire, she interjected: “Finally before we go.
“A huge congratulations to Ed Balls for winning these fantastic awards at the Political Podcast Awards 2025 interview of the year. The People’s Choice Award.”
Ed then shared with the audience that their category was uniquely decided by public vote. Susanna continued with praise, saying: “A huge well done.”

Balls shared that he co-hosts the Political Currency podcast with George Osborne.
Following the victory last week, the podcast’s official Twitter account posted a video of Ed and George expressing gratitude for the support, alongside a caption celebrating the double win at the #PoliticalPodcastAwards and thanking their voters.
In a celebratory video, Ed proudly declared: “We’ve just won awards at the Political Podcast of the Year Awards. In fact, we didn’t just win one.”
After a brief pause, his co-host George jovially revealed a second trophy, with Ed excitedly adding: “Two! Can you believe it. Not only interview of the year for Michael Gove but also the people’s choice.”
