Celebrity Bear Hunt has just released on Netflix today (February 5) and fans are in for a high-octane series.
12 famous faces take on a series of crazy challenges under the watchful eye of the man, the myth, the legend, Bear Grylls.
The show was filmed last year in the Costa Rican jungle in Central America, with the celebrities having to brave the weather and all of the scary aspects of the jungle from animals to bugs. The jungle is a dense forest with many trees that grow close together and leafy vines that connect the dots.
It’s also filled with animals that have free range to roam around and often sounds of the animals singing, chattering and calling to each other can be heard.
The 12 stars were also tasked with living together in a house not far from the jungle, meaning spending 24 hours a day together would no doubt cause clashes and arguments.
The official synopsis reads: “Meet the 12 celebrities taking part in the ultimate game of cat and mouse with the legendary Bear Grylls.
“They’ll live together, learn survival skills and compete in epic challenges. Lose, and they will face the most primal survival test of them all…being hunted down by Bear Grylls in nature’s deadliest escape room – The Bear Pit.”
