Golden Globe-winning Ramy Youssef added to Phil Lind Initiative Series lineup

UBC Speaker series also welcomes: Adam Kinzinger, Ziwe, Raven Chacon and Heather Cox Richardson

Youssef’s other endeavours include the HBO comedy special Ramy Youssef: More Feelings. He also directed an award-winning episode of FX’s The Bear and co-created Netflix’s Peabody-winning Mo. He co-starred in the Academy Award-winning film Poor Things.

This year’s Phil Lind Initiative Series’s topic is: What it Means to Be American: Navigating Identity in a Changing Nation.

Youssef,  known for his exceptional and authentic storytelling skills, will bring his unique perspectives from the entertainment industry to a conversation with Ravi Nandan, head of TV and non-fiction at A24, an American independent film and TV company.

Presented by the UBC School of Public Policy and Global Affairs in partnership with the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, 2025 Phil Lind Initiative Series previously announced the following speakers: Adam Kinzinger, Feb. 13; Ziwe, March 13; Raven Chacon, March 27 and Heather Cox Richardson, April 10.

All events take place at the Chan Centre, Chan Shun Concert Hall at 6:30 p.m.
