Cadillac prices CT5-V Blackwing’s Le Monstre at $37,395

Opt for this homage to the marque’s past Le Mans efforts, plus the Precision Package and Super Cruise, and you near a CDN$200,000 MSRP

  • Cadillac’s ‘Le Monstre’ package for the CT5-V Blackwing will be priced at $37,395 in Canada
  • The option is an homage to the marque’s Le Mans heritage, and includes unique paint and interior trim
  • The unrelated Precision Package is a $20,700 ask; throw in Super Cruise and you near $200,000 total

That’s a heap o’ beans, to be sure. But marketers at Cadillac are said to be limiting this car to just 101 copies as a nod to the Le Mans anniversary at which the package was first shown last year. Moneyed gearheads and collectors love that type of stuff, so don’t expect these to sit idly next to a base Equinox on the showroom floors. There’s a solid chance Rick Hendrick already has one on order. It is unclear how many are officially allocated for Canada, if any.

What does the cash buy other than exclusivity? An exterior finished in a so-called Magnus Metal Frost matte paint, for starters, along with blue accents in the carbon-fibre trim and brake calipers, plus blacked-out exterior badges. A special plaque appears on the B-pillar, as does a 3D-printed medallion on the shifter which calls out the heritage. Same goes for the upholstery, in yer choice of grey or black, with blue accents around the original Le Monstre race car number embroidered onto the seats.

Checking all the boxes, including the $20,700 Precision Package (carbon-ceramic brakes, gummy tires, recalibrated dampers, et al) and Super Cruise, which forces selection of an automatic transmission, pushes the total for your new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre just a few shillings shy of $200,000.
