A Place in the Sun’s Danni Menzies to make return in huge series announcement

Scottish TV star Danni Menzies is set to grace our screens once more in Channel 4’s spin-off series : What Happened Next?

The 36-year-old was a familiar face on the popular property show for nearly six years before she decided to step down in 2022 to pursue opportunities closer to home.

The award-winning daytime series has been instrumental in helping hundreds of people realise their dreams of owning a home abroad over the past quarter-century. Now, Danni and her co-star Ben Hillman will revisit those who took the leap and purchased a property overseas in the new series.

Each episode will see the experts reconnect with former House Hunters to reveal heartwarming tales of love, adventure, and the realities of owning a place under the sun.

Many previous house-hunters are now basking in the sun and enjoying a slower pace of life, while others have been hard at work renovating their properties. One couple even chose to tie the knot on the grounds of their new home, reports .

Viewers will learn about three weddings, two house hunters finding love, and, unfortunately, one divorce. However, all house hunters echo the same sentiment – they wouldn’t trade their sunny lives now for a return to the UK.

In the upcoming episode of the new series, Danni will catch up with Marie and Chris, who purchased a two-bedroom seafront holiday home in Manilva, southern Spain, back in 2019.

The pair have been fully utilising their property, particularly after Chris experienced a life-altering accident a few years back. Chris and Marie host Danni for a delightful lunch in the flat before the trio ventures to nearby Gibraltar for a cable car ride and monkey encounter.
