Cristo Foufas slammed Nigel Farage whilst appearing on the Jeremy Vine Show
A guest who appeared on the on sparked backlash after criticizing in a tense debate. Cristo Foufas, a presenter from TalkTV, slammed the Reform UK leader and claimed that he ‘did a runner’ after the vote.
The TV star weighed in on Farage and said he had the ‘best possible opportunity to deliver on his promises’ after took place – only to ‘disappear’ and had to be ‘brought back kicking and screaming to stand as an MP in the last election.’
One person responded to him on X: “Farage wasn’t in government and he wasn’t even an MP and he wasn’t part of Boris’s team so exactly how could he shape !”
Cristo then entered a heated debate with Belinda de Lucy, who argued that the Conservative Party made happen and Reform UK ‘were standing on the sidelines’ and had nothing to do with it.
Belinda said Nigel wasn’t to blame for not getting any seats in the 2019 election because he ‘didn’t have control over ,’ whilst Cristo claimed that Farage missed out on a ‘opportunity.’

Farage recently said that the UK needs a better post- deal with the EU, saying that the existing trading deal, which was negotiated under , was ‘not a very good one.’
Speaking to Radio 4’s Today programme, he said: “We can improve the deal by saying to them, ‘look, we can make this easier for both of us, we can go back through’, we are up for a renegotiation anyway.
“My fear is we tie ourselves to EU law, we start to accept single market regulations and the many implications from this government, that is what they intend to do.”

Interviewer Emma Barnett quizzed him and asked: “You keep outlining your fears and what you don’t like, but you are an MP now; you’re the leader of a party; don’t you need to say what we can do?”
Mr. Farage added, “Let’s think bigger,” while continuing to say that Britain could seek a free trade deal with the United States under before adding that the EU becomes less important each year.
