Location

Although it is not confirmed in the post, the photograph was taken just weeks ago in Windsor, not far from the family’s home.

Since 2022, Princess Kate, and their three children have lived on the Windsor Castle estate in Adelaide Cottage.

The move was believed to have been made for privacy reasons, with the new cottage having plenty of nearby private outdoor space for Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, to enjoy – unlike their previous Kensington Palace home.

It is believed the picture was taken in woodlands on the estate.

When it was taken

The new photograph of the future Queen was taken just last month in January – the same month Princess Kate, 43, confirmed she

After the princess returned to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she received her own cancer treatment last year, Kate confirmed the good news on social media. She wrote at the time: “It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery.

“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”

Who took the picture

While some may believe the picture was taken by a professional, it appears it was in fact six, as they enjoyed a walk together.

It is the first photograph taken by Louis to ever be publicly published.

The news that Louis was behind the lens has been met with much happiness by royal fans, who believe he has inherited his mum’s love for photography.

One person wrote on : “Looks like Louis has got his mother’s love for photography.”

Another said: “Louis, you definitely have your Mama’s photography skills.”

Kate’s winter outfit

Some fans may have also not noticed Kate’s very casual winter outfit – the opposite of the regal dresses we usually see her in. To wrap up against the January cold, Kate was photographed wrapped up from head to toe.

As well as dark trousers and a long winter coat, the princess also sported gloves, a cap, and a scarf.

The princess also appears to be wearing long stylish boots for the winter walk with her youngest son.
