Remove stubborn stains with just a handful of household ingredients
A mum of two and fanatic has shared her interesting concoction for getting rid of tough from jeans.
We’re all been there where we’ve accidentally spilled food or on our clothes, but one mum thinks she’s got the answer to stain woes.
Iryna Yauseyeva, also known as @ira.motherhood on , regularly shares on her page.
She recently revealed her top hack for getting rid of “any stain”, including grease and wine.
You’ll need a handful of common household items to complete this
Cover the stain in iodized salt, baking soda and washing up liquid
She wrote in her video: “Why did I only find out this at 30??”
Pouring out olive oil to stain the jeans, Iryna came armed with Morton Iodized Salt, , washing up liquid, and baking paper.
First, cover the oil with the iodized salt, enough to make sure all of the stain is covered with a thick layer. Follow with an equally liberal amount of baking soda, and then again with the washing up liquid.
Layer a sheet of baking paper over the top of the areas covered with the homemade stain solution. Gently iron for a few minutes, making sure to press down on the solution.

Remove the baking paper and use your hand to rub the warmed up cleaning solution into the jeans, enough so the solids and liquids clump together until you get a thick paste consistency.
Once you’ve reached the desired consistency, fold over the jeans so the solution is on the inside of the fold.
Wash in your washing machine at the correct temperature setting for your jeans.
However, some viewers offered alternate solutions in the comments.
