Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment over the last year and has become co-branded between the two well-known names.

We got invited down to the hotel in west London to see what it was like for a one night stay.

Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel has 226 ibis rooms and 282 Mercure rooms and was greeted with a warm welcome from staff.

Inside our hotel room there was all we could ask for including a comfy bed, an amazing shower room and of course brand new furniture.

The Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel offers stunning views of the London skyline where travellers can immerse themselves in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Additional rooms under the Mercure brand were added at the end of 2024 this year with the project expected to be completed in early 2025.

We also got to try the new on-site restaurant Barnaby’s where we tucked into tasty scallops for a starter and a delicious steak for main.

The bar and restaurant has been designed in collaboration with Paris Society. Barnaby’s theme plays to a fictional character of the same name.

‘Barnaby’ returns to London to enjoy his 60s at home after spending many years adventuring abroad and discovering the world.

The menu has a variety of great classics of British cuisine as well as favourites from far away. Signature dishes will include Barnaby’s Chorizo Roll, Spiced Fish Pie and Limoncello Caprese.  Elsewhere, the bar menu will include classic cocktails from around the world twisted with local touches.

However, one aspect of our stay which stood out was the attention to detail in our room. We received a lovely note welcoming us to the hotel and a hamper with beauty gifts including a face mask.

For those who are looking to stay, it all depends on the time of year and room size. Classic Double Rooms at Mercure London Earls Court Hotel start at £149 per night (room only).

Meanwhile, Classic Double Rooms at ibis London Earls Court Hotel start at £109 per night (room only).
