Lindsey Owen was found dead in the hospital
A mum-of-four was tragically found dead in a UK hospital next to her unwell daughter who was receiving treatment there.
Lindsey Owen was discovered by hospital staff on a fold-up bed at Royal Stoke-on-Trent Hospital last May.
Ms Owen, who was proscribed methadone to combat her drug addiction, was sleeping in a private room when she died, an inquest heard.
CCTV shows her leaving the hospital the day before she died where it is believed she took various illicit substances.

Forensic pathologist Brett Lockyer told the inquest: “I gave the cause of death as mixed-drug intoxication.
“The drugs which have contributed to her death included a mixture of diamorphine or heroin, methadone, gabapentin, mirtazapine, codeine, and diazepam.
“All of those drugs together, they would have acted together in order to cause her death by suppressing her respiratory system and causing her to go into a deep sleep.
“Lindsey would not have known anything about what was happening to her. She would have just wandered off into a very deep sleep and then passed away while she was sleeping.”

She added: “Her youngest son, sweet little Cobie, was in hospital and Lindsey was sadly sleeping next to his bed when she passed.
“Poor Cobie is probably wondering when his Mummy is coming back.”
