Sophie and Edward were asked whether they had watched and ’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, which took place just months beforehand.
In the interview with Oprah, broadcast just over a year since Harry and Meghan quit royal life, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke critically about the Royal Family and even accused some royals of having conversations about what colour her son’s skin would be before he was born.
The late Queen released a statement at the time about how issues raised by Harry and Meghan would be handled privately, with most other members of the Royal Family refraining from talking about it.
However, when asked whether they had watched the interview by The Telegraph, Edward and Sophie could not help but act ignorant, with the prince saying: “Oprah Who?”
Sophie then said in a savage three-word response: “Yes, what interview?”
