first ranking tournament as reigning world champion will come at the Winmau World Masters in Milton Keynes this weekend.

Littler will make up part of a star-studded line-up for the new-look tournament, which for the first time will count towards the PDC Order of Merit.

The Nuke bagged a whopping £500,000 for his Alexandra Palace exploits and can take a step closer to the world No.1 spot with a win this weekend.

He’s currently over £650,000 behind current world No.1 , but how much of that total can Littler make a dent in at the Masters?

How much prize money can Luke Littler win at the Winmau World Masters?

A total prize fund of £500,000 is on offer to the players competing at this weekend’s event in Buckinghamshire.

The winner of the tournament will take home a cool £100,000 – all of which will count towards their Order of Merit in the world rankings.

It’s double the prize available to the Masters runner-up, who will pocket £50,000 for their weekend performance.

The two semi-finalists will take home £30,000 each, whereas the quarter-finalist losers will earn £17,500.

Littler’s hopes of taking home a maiden World Masters title have been boosted by a handy draw.

The reigning world champion will take on a qualifier in round one, with a second-round clash against either James Wade and Mike De Decker.

By no means is it a walkover, it should present Littler with an opportunity to progress to the quarter-final, where he’ll likely come up against Chris Dobey or Jonny Clayton.
