If you’re craving a romantic getaway with your partner, there are few places more romantic than Italy – and one city in particular is perfect for a couple’s holiday.
Leading tour operator reports 81% of their 2025 bookings come from couples’ holidays so head of product Heather Green has shared her top romantic Italian getaways – and Florence is a firm favourite.

All are within 0.5 miles of each other, making it possible to wander through the quaint, winding passageways in a mere 10 minutes.
