A survey by asked around 1,000 British tourists to rank their ultimate Canary Island hotspot.
Several factors were taken into consideration, including beach quality, food and drink options, accommodation, value for money and overall scenery.
The results showed UK nationals love a Spanish area that’s often referred to as “Little Venice”.

And it would seem most Brits in the Which? survey strongly agreed with an impressive score of 90%, which sees the spot topping the 15-strong table.

Among its peaceful tranquility, Puerto de Mogan scored five stars when it came to accommodation
Puerto de Mogan scored a whopping five stars when it came to its accommodation with its food and drink options, value for money and epic scenery coming in high too with a four-star rating.
This Spanish spot was the only resort to score so high among these factors with its peace and quiet atmosphere coming in at three stars.
Which? said of Puerto de Mogan that with its “quaint marina, white-washed houses and labyrinthine old town, it’s easy to see why this ‘peaceful, beautiful place’ captured the hearts of visitors”.
Apart from picture-perfect beaches and tranquility on offer here, the region is also famed for its intricate network of canals which run through the town evoking similar images of Venice, hence its nickname, and makes it the ideal spot for those long, leisurely strolls.
