Transit alert: Police incident shuts down Yaletown — Roundhouse SkyTrain Station

TranskLink staff are assisting customers at affected stations.

The Yaletown — Roundhouse SkyTrain station was closed Friday morning as police investigated a stabbing in the area.

Vancouver police said the stabbing happened just before 1 a.m. near Mainland and Davie streets. A suspect was arrested and the 32-year-old victim was in hospital.

TransLink said Canada Line trains were still travelling through, just not stopping at the Yaletown — Roundhouse station. Extra bus service to Vancouver City Centre station is in place. Transit staff are assisting customers at affected stations.

Trains on the Expo Line and Millennium Line are unaffected.

Police say additional information will be shared later Friday.
