The 20-year-old left-wing-back is landing at Old Trafford in a deal worth £25million plus a potential £4m in add-ons.
But Amorim is also said to be eyeing reinforcements on the right flank, placing his first-choice option at Sporting at the top of his shortlist.
According to , United are working on a deal to sign Quenda this summer and reunite him with his former head coach.
It’s claimed that the 17-year-old talent is expected to cost around £33m, but United have yet to submit a formal offer while prioritising their January dealings.
Quenda can operate on both wings – similarly to Dorgu – but has primarily played on the right since Amorim oversaw his promotion from Sporting’s youth ranks.
