Linda Nolan funeral details have been released
family have announced their plans for her funeral, confirming it will take place at the same church where she exchanged vows.
The ex-singer and television star died from double pneumonia on January 15 at the age of 65. She was admitted to Blackpool Victoria Hospital and went into a coma and end-of-life care. The Irish-born performer was also living with cancer at the time of her death.
Linda will be honoured in a ceremony scheduled to occur at St. Paul’s Church in Blackpool. This is the very location where Linda married her late husband Brian Hudson in 1981. He died in 2007.
The family have confirmed the details, including the time and date, of her funeral following her death on January 15.
Linda, who shot to fame alongside her sisters Anne, Denise, Maureen, Bernie and Coleen as part of The Nolans in the mid 1970s, had openly battled with her health throughout her life.

She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, before being diagnosed with cellulitis and lymphedema in her arm two years later. She was given the all-clear in 2011.
In 2017, doctors discover an incurable secondary breast cancer on her pelvis, which spread to her liver and later metastasised to her brain.

Linda’s siblings are warmly inviting her supporters to join them at the church for her memorial service and to celebrate her life.
The service will be taking place on Saturday, 1st February 2025, at St. Paul’s Church in Blackpool.

Loose Women star Coleen replied: “She kept his ashes.”
Linda shot to fame as part of the iconic girl group The Nolans alongside her sisters Coleen, Maureen, Bernie, Denise, and Anne. She parted ways with the group in 1983 but rejoined for several special reunion performances.
Beyond her days with The Nolans, Linda’s talent shone bright on stage as she toured alongside the renowned Gene Pitney and earned acclaim for her West End performances in shows like Blood Brothers, Pump Boys And Dinettes, and Prisoner Cell Block “H”. Her varied career also saw her appear in Celebrity Big Brother and gracing the stages of musical theatre.
Outside the spotlight, Linda dedicated herself to various charitable causes, helping raise over £20 million for esteemed organizations like Breast Cancer Now, the Irish Cancer Society, and Samaritans.
Linda’s life came to a close as she was surrounded by loved ones, following an admission to a Blackpool hospital due to complications from double pneumonia. Poignantly, her sister Denise shared that Linda maintained her spirited nature, “laughing and joking” in the days leading up to her passing.
