ITV The Chase host Bradley Walsh revealed an amusing connection with one of the show’s Chasers in the latest episode, referring to his colleague as his “twin”. During Thursday’s (January 30) episode, a fresh group of hopefuls faced off against Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, who was determined to leave them empty-handed.
With the first contestant, Taven, swiftly eliminated, Bradley sought to inject some humour into the situation by telling the second player, Sharron, about his and Shaun’s close birth dates. He quipped: “We’re the same age, twins. We have the same birthday apart from two days.”
He also pointed out that while they shared many similarities, he differed from Shaun in height and hair volume, with Sharron noting Bradley’s lusher locks.
Indeed, Bradley and Shaun were born just two days apart, with Bradley celebrating his birthday on June 4, 1960, and Shaun on June 2.

Despite the light-hearted exchanges, the stakes remained high on the show, and the mood soon turned serious as Sharron and the third contestant, Rumun, both found themselves caught by Shaun, with Rumun’s £8,000 cash builder amount failing to secure him a spot in the final chase.
As the situation wasn’t favourable, it was Sally’s turn, with the potential to make a difference. In the initial round, she secured £4,000, reports
Upon reaching the table, Shaun presented her with an enticing option: to compete for an impressive £100,000. Nonetheless, Sally chose to stick with her original £4,000, rather than pursuing the larger sum.

This decision was met with frustration from various fans on social media, as they felt she had the potential to excel further.
Some fans voiced their discontent on the social media site X, with one stating: “Why would you stick with the four? ? Pointless.”
Another irritated viewer complained: “A golden opportunity to possibly win £100k and she bottles it – ffs! ..”
