OnlyFans models are being done a huge favour when critics brand them whores

OnlyFans is spurring on bad behaviour from the likes of people like Wynne Evans (Image: Getty Image)

Wynne Evans sounds like a pretty ghastly chap: the Strictly contestant has rightly been hauled over the coals for making an extraordinarily unpleasant sexual jibe about professional dancer Janette Manrara.

Just about every woman in the world has come across a man like him.

Don’t miss…

I still remember an incredibly nasty and not dissimilar slur made against me at university by a public schoolboy who went on to become a stockbroker, i.e a pillar of the establishment.

He was also extremely ugly, which might have had something to do with it, but whatever the reason, the sooner we get it into the thick heads of men like him and Evans that it is completely unacceptable to talk in such ways, the better.

But the vast majority of women are not being helped in this area by the behaviour of some quite vile women on the site OnlyFans.

Two in particular have engaged in such repellent behaviour that I do not wish to name them or detail it (Google it if you must and prepare to lose the will to live) but one can be named and shamed, not least because she’s just done it herself.

Mia Dunn, the daughter of star Sammy Winward and footballer David Dunn has just revealed that her father called her a “whore” on the phone and hung up on her because of her appearance on the site: her mother is said to be equally appalled.

Good.

The silly girl, just 19, has no idea what she’s doing, and it is only by being publicly shamed by both her parents and wider society that she might stop.

I was always brought up to believe that selling yourself was the last resort of the utterly desperate: that almost anything, cleaning loos or sweeping streets, was better than that.

Now we have a whole generation which doesn’t seem to realise that they are in essence prostitutes – not sex workers, or, even worse,“content creators”, but simple prostitutes. Some of them are earning a lot of money, but one day they’re going to wake up and realise quite how badly they’ve demeaned themselves.

David Dunn’s doing his daughter and anyone tempted to emulate her a big favour. Their behaviour may be legal but it’s immoral and frankly damages us all.
