Ben Habib claims even Nigel Farage’s Reform UK is failing to ‘sync’ with the British people
Former Party MEP and Reform UK co-deputy leader has unveiled ambitious plans for a US-style “super Political Action Committee (PAC)” which he hopes will “unite the right”.
And the property magnate has predicted the new organisation has the potential for raise tens of millions of pounds which will support those aiming to further the agenda a “small c conservative” agenda.
A PAC is an organisation that raises and spends money to influence elections and public policy, typically by supporting or opposing candidates, legislation, or ballot initiatives. One notable example is the Club for Growth, which supports conservative, pro-free-market Republican candidates in the United States.
Mr Habib’s relationship with , Reform’s leader, has been tense ever since he quit the party last year, citing concerns about what the former sees as its lack of internal democracy.
Speaking a day before the fifth anniversary of the UK quitting the , the founder of property fund company First Property Group told Express.co.uk: “The British political establishment is still not in sync with the people. Even Reform is not in sync with where the people are.

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch
“What the people of this country want is what Trump is doing. Whether or not you like Trump as an individual is academic.
“What he’s delivering for the US is what people in this country want, ‘small c’ conservatism, a proud, independent, sovereign United Kingdom having, you know, ejected the EU and the liberal global order.
“We will plead with the right to unite. We will pressure them into uniting. And this entity, is going to make sure people like Nigel don’t give in to the middle ground, that Kemi Badenoch understands that she’s got to go right in order to preserve the Conservative Party.”
continued: “And actually what we want is tension between the and Reform. We want them competing for the right hand side of politics, because then they’ll push each other each other in that direction.

Ben Habib claimed the British people ‘want what Donald Trump is doing’ in the US
“At the moment, they’re both pivoting to the centre ground but we want them pushing and competing on the right-hand side.”
Touting the idea of an electoral coalition between Reform and the , Mr Habib added: “If they did a partnership, they would have a thumping majority. The polls are already saying that.
“So our aim is to make sure we eject the Labour government, we eject the ideology that supports this Labour government, we eject the ideology which has governed this country for the last 20-30, years, and we create this proud, independent, sovereign, prosperous United Kingdom.”
Without revealing names, Mr Habib said several high profile figures, including influential Americans, had already expressed an interest in getting involved, predicting the venture could raise “tens of millions of pounds”.

PACs (Political Action Committees) are less familiar in the UK because the British political system has stricter regulations on campaign financing and political donations.
The UK’s Electoral Commission enforces donation limits and transparency rules, making PAC-style political influence less prominent.
The Great British PAC website sets out three main objectives, namely to ‘create a robust strategy to counter Labour’s policies”, to “Rally those who value freedom and democracy” and to “equip candidates and activists with the tools and strategies needed to win”.
Nevertheless, Mr Habib is confident it will not fall foul of the commission because it is not a political party and will not itself field candidates.
He explained: “We’ve had a look at that and we are not doing anything from an electoral point of view.
“We are just an activist campaigning group so I don’t see any problems.”
