A guest on the recent episode of A Place in the Sun was in tears after he made an emotional revelation about his move to Spain.
On Wednesday’s episode (January 29), Jesica and Karl, a married couple from Manchester, embarked on a quest for the ideal family home in Costa de la Luz, Spain. With £95,000 at their disposal, they were keen to explore various options suggested by presenter Jasmine Harman.
Before starting their property hunt, Jesica and Karl shared a poignant reason for their relocation to Spain: the loss of Karl’s son. Early in the show, Karl disclosed this tragic motivation behind their move.
Jasmine offered words of comfort as they discussed their bereavement, describing the situation as “heartbreaking.”
The episode remained emotionally charged as the couple viewed two apartments in Spain, remaining optimistic about their prospects and budget potential, reports .

But it was a three-bedroom house, just over their budget at £108K, that truly overwhelmed them. Upon seeing the space available, Karl was brought to tears, astonished by what they could afford, saying: “I just never dreamed…with such a small budget,” as he struggled to speak through his emotions.
Property number three nearly clinched the deal, but it was Jasmine’s final offering that truly captured the hearts of Karl and Jesica. It didn’t hurt that their daughter Sophia, who joined in on the hunt, approved too.
Ultimately, this trio was smitten with property number five, featuring a duo of bedrooms and a breath-taking modern feel.
