The 58-year-old creator of the show took to X to host a Q&A session about the new show.
He said: “Not trying to replace our beloved originals. Just a new crew working in a different city handling different kinds of cases.”
Mr Korsh also spoke about the original cast and added: “It seems like people are all wishing . I expected this and can’t blame them.

“I can only hope they give Suits LA an open-minded try. If they do, I really believe they will grow to love it.”

In another question about the original cast returning to the new show, Mr Korsh revealed he was “open” to the idea but insisted that he wants to “launch” the new characters on the show first.

He said: “I am open to everything but we do want to launch these characters on this show.”
Suits was originally aired on the USA Network and later, in 2023, became available on Peacock and , where it saw an impressive resurgence.
The series became available on and Peacock in mid-2023, where it experienced an unprecedented surge in popularity, topping Nielsen ratings charts for a record 12 weeks and becoming ‘s “most-watched acquired series in a single week”.
The same year, Meghan said the show’s success was “wild” claiming that she had “no idea” what was behind it.
