The BBC is said to be courting Amanda Holden to helm a new quiz show that nods to the intrigue-rich format of the popular game The Traitors.
Titled The Inner Circle, the programme will weave “intrigue, mystery and treachery” into its gameplay, following a pilot that intrigued executives last year.
Contestants are expected to tackle general knowledge questions to amass a cash prize, but the trustworthiness of their peers could influence their winnings.

One television source divulged to The Sun, “Although this is a different concept to The Traitors, it taps into many of its devious elements.”
Filming for The Inner Circle is slated for this year, with plans to enlist the general public as participants. Celebrity involvement may follow down the line, reports .
Anticipation is high for the new Saturday night staple on One, which proposes to seat ITV stalwart Amanda as the presenter.
This venture positions Amanda for her inaugural solo presenting role with the and builds upon her acclaim earned alongside Alan Carr in their home renovation series.
