During a recent photocall at the launch, the 53-year-old Welsh opera singer was caught making a derogatory comment to tour host .

As public outrage over his actions escalates, fans have taken to social media to share clips of him on stage post-incident, questioning why he wasn’t removed sooner.

One such clip from an earlier show features Wynne on stage alone with Janette. A user shared the footage on , expressing their bewilderment at the situation and questioning whether Janette would feel comfortable continuing one-on-one interactions on the tour.

In the video, Wynne can be seen joking about his low scores compared to those of Janette’s husband Aljaz Skorjanec. He then tells the audience to chat amongst themselves while he shares a message with Janette: “Shirley has ripped her gusset. Can you fill?”

The news comes after a video surfaced of Wynne performing on stage with his Strictly colleagues in Birmingham.

However, he was noticeably absent from the latest show at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Tuesday, after his colleagues were seen leaving their hotel without him ahead of the live show, reports .

This follows Wynne’s apology for his actions, after which he announced that he would be taking a break from his radio show, the Strictly Live tour, and other public commitments to prioritise his wellbeing.

In a statement, he said: “I’ve agreed with the that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.

“I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.

“Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me.”

Professional dancer Katya Jones, 35, who was paired with Wynne on Strictly last year and its live tour, shared her reaction to the news on social media and wrote: “Let’s show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy.”
