Prince Harry’s 11-word answer when asked if he’d return to royal duties with Meghan

The Duke of Sussex, 40, says he is Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the US, but his increasingly frequent solo engagements in the States have raised hopes he might seek a different life.

Some fans believe misses the royal role he once had, but the Duke appeared to scotch such suggestions when interviewed in 2023.

When promoting his controversial memoir Spare in a , host Michael Strahan asked whether Harry and Meghan could ever return as senior working royals.

“Even if there is an agreement, or an arrangement between me and my family, there is that third party that is going to do everything they can to make sure that isn’t possible.

“Not stopping us going back, but making it unsurvivable.”
