Netflix fans who binged American Primeval told to watch ‘perfectly written’ series next

Fans of American Primeval have been urged to watch a ‘gripping’ drama series that has been hailed as a blend of ‘True Detective meets American Beauty’ for their next binge.

The western epic from remains one of the most viewed titles on the platform, even though it was added over a month ago.

At the time of writing, it ranks third in the UK top ten, only knocked off the top spot by Missing You and the newly released second season of The Night Agent.

For those who haven’t yet devoured all six episodes, the series is set in 1857 America and offers a fictionalised dramatisation of the brutal clash of culture, religion, and community as individuals battle and perish to retain or seize the land.
