The family of a teenager who died after a car crash in West Yorkshire have said they are “broken without him” in a poignant statement.
Koby Jones, 18, was among three killed after a Seat Ibiza car left the road and hit a tree near Wakefield at around 8:30pm on Friday, January 24.
“Koby was one of the most kind, thoughtful, hardworking young men I have ever known and we are so proud to call him our son,” his mother Rebecca said.
“This family is broken and the world is going to be such a lonely place without him.
“Whoever had the pleasure of meeting him would say the same.
“Love you son. Loved by ALL!”
Two 19-year-old men were also killed in the crash, while a fourth man remains in hospital with life threatening injuries, West Yorkshire Police said.
