A cleaning guru has shared her 10-step routine to get her bathroom sparkling.

Ida Julia, who refers to herself as “your cleaning bestie” in her  bio, has helped others wanting to know how to clean their bathroom. The content creator uses social media to post routines, and information on cleaning products.

She shared a video on demonstrating how to clean your bathroom in ten easy steps. Ida targeted all areas from the shower screen to the mirror to any surfaces.

The cleaning expert begins her bathroom cleaning routine by removing towels, bath mats and other items. She then dusts the room from top to bottom and then moves onto cleaning the shower screen by applying The Pink Stuff cleaning paste with a Scrub Daddy scrubber in a circular motion.

Next, she cleans mirrors, walls and doors. Ida scrubs the wall in the shower area but mops other walls and doors.

10 step bathroom cleaning routine ?????? the products I use are linked in my bio 1. Gather all your products and tools 2. Remove bath mats, towels, shampoo bottles etc. (wipe those items too!) 2. Dust from top to bottom: light fixtures, shelves, vents, surfaces 3. Clean the shower screens 4. Wipe mirrors, walls and doors 5. Scrub shower fixtures 6. Clean the sink and surfaces 7. Disinfect door handles, light switches and other touch points 8. Clean the toilet (always let products sit before scrubbing, you can apply the toilet cleaner to the bowl when you start cleaning your bathroom) – make sure to clean under the rim, the base, the wall behind and the floor around the toilet as well 9. Clean the floor, dont forget to clean grout as well!) 10. Clean and disinfect your cloths, sponges and other tools (I wash my cloths in the washing machine, my sponges in the dishwasher and soak other tools in water with bleach) If you have shower drains in your bathroom or a bathtub, make sure to clean those as well – I recently cleaned my shower drain and posted a video about it so didnt include it here ??????

Using her trusty scrubber, she cleans shower fixtures and makes sure to rinse them well and “dry everything properly” with a towel. She then tackles the sink and other surfaces before disinfecting door handles and light switches.

After this she moves onto cleaning all parts of the toilet and she said not to forget to clean under the rim and base as well as behind the toilet. Then Ida mops the floor and lastly cleans and disinfects her tools, bath mats and towels by putting them all in the washing machine with some more of The Pink Stuff.

Her TikTok video has amassed an incredible 2.1 million views, 168,000 likes and 443 comments. It has also been favourited by 44,400 users so they can refer back to it when cleaning their own bathrooms.

Another user added: “I tested it. I never had that much fun cleaning my bathroom.” A third chimed in: “This was SO satisfying to watch.”
