Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou gave a telling response to angry fans shouting in his direction after his side were beaten by Leicester. In another hugely disappointing result for Spurs, they were defeated 2-1 by the relegation-threatened Foxes.

After the final whistle, Postecoglou went to shake hands with his players and he gave a wave to fans. The Australian then headed down the tunnel.

In a video recorded and shared on social media by a fan, Postecoglou overhears shouts from furious supporters who told him that he was taking the club into the Championship. “You’re going to take us down! We’re going down with you!” screamed one individual as the Spurs head coach walked on with his head down.

Postecoglou initially continued to walk down the tunnel with members of his coaches but then returned to stare up at the fan. The 59-year-old glared for several moments before being led away by club staff.

One member of staff pointed towards the tunnel and Postecoglou followed him away. The former Celtic boss did not say anything to the fan but he was clearly unhappy over what was shouted.
