Thomas also emphasised that he’s ‘never experienced winds like this in the UK before’ and that many homes have been left without power.
The video made its way onto Sky’s official YouTube channel, and many fans commented on why the reporter was sent out to do a live broadcast in such terrible conditions.

A second also said, “Bless this guy. It reminds me of my home country. They send journalists to report live in a storm too. It’s outrageous.”
A third also echoed: “This boy needs an oscar for that performance,” whilst a fourth said: “The reporter is rocking around like a ship in a storm. In an attempt to make the winds look stronger they they are!”
