The has issued two new yellow weather warnings for snow and ice.
The alerts, issued on Friday as , are affecting the whole of Northern Ireland as well as Scotland and northern England.
The alert affecting Northern Ireland will come into force this evening, at 7pm, and remain in effect until 10am on Saturday, January 25.
A second alert will instead come into force on Saturday and remain in place between midnight and 11am.
A new amber warning for wind has also been issued covering a large areas of Scotland, which will run from 1pm on today (Friday) to 6am on Saturday.
