UK holidaymakers flying with Jet2 can check-in early at 10 major UK airports with a unique twilight service.

The low-cost airline provides the service to customers whose flights leave before midday and have already checked-in online.

Twilight Check-in allows customers to drop off their bags at the airport the evening before a morning flight, helping to save time when arriving at departures on the day of travel.

Suitcases can be dropped off between 4.30pm and 9pm the night before your flight, meaning you can bypass check-in and head straight for security when you get to the airport the following day.

The service is available at the following 10 airports across the UK, seven days a week, to those who have checked-in online and are booked on flights departing before midday:

  • Birmingham

  • Bristol

  • East Midlands

  • Edinburgh

  • Glasgow International

  • Leeds Bradford

  • Liverpool

  • London Stansted

  • Manchester

  • Newcastle

You must ensure you have checked in online no later than 24 hours before your flight and one person in your party can drop off up to six people’s bags, but you’ll need to take along your boarding passes and passports.

The airline adds that some UK airports offer free, limited-time parking for customers while using Twilight check-in so you won’t have to incur any additional costs to use the service.

Don’t miss…

Jet2 said: “With our free Twilight Check-in service, you can drop your bags off at your UK departure airport between 16:30 and 21:00 the evening before your morning flight.

“Thanks to Twilight Check-in, when you arrive at departures the next day, your luggage is already sorted. If you live near the airport or are staying at a hotel close by, it’ll make your morning a little bit easier.

“Remember, to use Twilight Check-in, you must check in online any time from 28 days and no later than 24 hours before your flight, via our website or app.”
