BBC Winterwatch viewers react to ‘rudest chat ever’ between hosts Chris and Michaela

viewers took to social media to comment on an exchange between presenters and labelling it “filth”.

The pair had been talking to fellow presenter Iolo Williams who was at a location where there were woodcocks and explained he was hoping to actually get his hands on one later in the show.

It cut back to Chris and Michaela, as the latter exclaimed: “Exciting isn’t it, he could have a woodcock in his hand.

“I bet you’ve got FOMO (fear of missing out) over that. You’d love to have a woodcock in your hand,” she teased.

As Chris looked at her quizzically, she explained: “Fear of missing out. It’s what all the young people say. I’m down with the young people. So, yeah, you’ve got super FOMO over that,”. This led Chris to quip: “I’ll FOMO all over you in a minute.”
